The street to the Mortirolo is narrow and full of hairpin turns. Riding through wonderful forests you gain elevation and then head downhill to Edolo. From here on a myriad of amusing and quick turns take you to the Giovo and the Zambla Passes. Stopping on these pre-alpine passes is a must and then again towards the gigantic alpine passes: the San Marco Pass. It is like being on a helicopter: the ascent is quick and narrow up to the mountain hut. Take a photo and then off to Morbegno, back again to Valtellina. Have an ice cream in the town centre and back on your track. You still have to eat up a lot of miles in direction of Chiavenna and climb up to the Maloja. And on this way your tyres will be put to the test: a mountain track featuring both large and narrow hairpin turns rising steeply up to the top.  We are in Switzerland, it is better not to run too fast ... but the real fun lies among those hairpin turns. Pass Silvaplana and Sant Moritz by and turn right towards Pontresina. The Bernina Pass will be unforgettable: quick and amusing with the perfect asphalt! You are finally back to Livigno through the Forcola Pass. Have your deserved beer on the terrace of the Concordia Lounge Bar and then head immediately for the new Mandira SPA wellness centre before dinner. Have an epic sleep.
