Stoneart

Marks on matter. Deep lacerations on pebbles and stones, prints in the earth, the unconfined need to face a territory and its surrounding environment. The idea underpinning Stoneart is the relationship between art and environment, artist and territory, in an on-going dialogue between different cultures and generations. The strength of Stoneart lies in not posing dogmas or certainties but instead queries, which destabilise the beneficiary, leading him or her to look inside the self.
