Art in Ice 30 November - 04 December 2011

This year again, ten artists coming from different parts of the world will measure themselves against the snow sculptures of Art in Ice, from 30 November - 04 December 2011. 

 

They will wield chisels and pickaxes, shaping ten 3m X 3m cubes of pressed snow, turning them into contemporary art works.

This year, to mark the XVI edition, Art in Ice offers an opportunity not only to be close to the artists and to see a work of art being formed, but also to have a chance to work on your own block of snow thanks to the sculpture school organised by Art In Ice Village.
