Creativity competition As has become the custom, ten teams made up of 3 sculptors will be allowed to take part, having been selected by a qualified jury which will choose the best projects from all those submitted to the event office. "ART IN ICE FOR FASHION" is the theme of the competition and will leave each artist free to interpret art and snow as he/she thinks fit. The artists are free to use whatever supports and techniques they wish in drafting their projects, which should be clear. Photographs, sketches, etc. to illustrate the sculpture are appreciated. In order to take part in the selection process candidates are required to send in their project along with the application coupon and their professional résumé. The competition will take place along the streets of Livigno and lots will be drawn for positions. Each block of snow will be a cube 3 metres tall by 3 metres wide by 3 metres deep. Chainsaws, other electrical equipment, supports, colouring agents and internal supports are all prohibited. The sculpture must be finished on all four sides. |
