Jump. Twist. Jib. The wide pistes and over 100 sq.km to ski on make Livigno a favourite with snowboarders and freestylers alike. Swatch Snowpark Mottolino has 4 different lines of jumps and rails for all levels and this year it is even bigger, at 30,000 sq.m with 43 rail boxes, 22 jumps, 2 halfpipes and a wall ride. There's also Snowpark Carosello 3000, a 1 km area featuring rails and jumps, a boardercross route and a wood park.

Not only snowboarders but also lovers of twin tips can make the most of this fabulous area.

Livigno is the place to go to watch the champions in action - many come here to train so don't miss the spectacular free daily shows. The first World Cup races have been held here since 1985, while today Ski Area Mottolino hosts big snowboard events like Burton European Open, World Rookie Fest, North Face Ski Challenge and perhaps the most spectacular of them all: River Jump, where contestants sail over the 8 mt wide River Spoel.

Come biking and skiing, April 16-23, for a heady summer/winter mix at Hotel Lac Salin SPA & Mountain Resort. Take part in exhilarating biking excursions and cycle down the Mottolino slopes by MTB with guides including Julian Giacomelli, the young Italian national team hopeful, or try out Ktrak, a caterpillar rear-wheeled MTB adapted for fresh snow.
