A long family Summer
For the children there are mimes and clowns, nature trips, drawing and painting workshops. For parents and grandparents, workouts, tournaments and board games, lessons on how to recognize mushrooms and on alpine herbs. Summer in the Lungolivigno Hotels is perfect for families. Not just because of the special prices but also because of the many activities perfect for kids, mums and dads. To say nothing of the Parè and Lac Salin Hotels, with their green surroundings, situated on the edge of the forest, perfect for children to roam freely, far from cars. On their arrival, guests receive the Nature Card as a free gift, giving them free access to a rich program of initiatives organized by the APT Tourism Promotion Board.
A kids' club The "Miniclub delle Giovani Marmotte" is a real village with Indian teepees and a small farm of pets, including rabbits and goats. The entertainment educators supervise 4 to 12 year-olds, divided into two age brackets as they experience the many activities such as adventure trails, orienteering, drawing competitions, botanical courses, adventure games, and picnic trips. For mum and dad Alongside the "Miniclub", the Green Zone is reserved for parents who can participate in their own activities without losing sight of the children. Some of the most popular initiatives are the practical demonstration of typical Valtellina cooking by the best cooks of Livigno. For Mums with babies up to 6 months old, the Hotel Concordia offers a free gift of three relaxing massages. And for Dads who can't stay the whole week, it offers the first and the seventh days free. These offers are valid until 17 July and from 28 August.. Family excursions Other activities are arranged for the whole family. Like the family time excursions, a half-day in the forest, walking along easy trails together with an alpine guide who points out fauna and flora. Or a visit to the Tea di Noni mountain hut where they can observe cheese making demonstrations. Or the Polenta Party in Val delle Mine up on the mountain pasture where the family can eat great polenta with alpine cheese and fresh milk, accompanied by a piano accordion. |
