Art in Ice, a spectacle of nature awaiting you in Livigno
 An imposing ice carving at Lac Salin SPA & Mountain Resort will present Art in Ice, the international snow sculpture competition, 3 - 7 December, when sculptors get to grips with 3 mt. tall ice cubes. 5 foreign teams face off against 5 Italian teams under extreme conditions in an open air gallery framed by snow-capped peaks. Lac Salin SPA & Mountain Resort has always been synonymous with Art in Ice. Video installations in the lounge will show the best of past years' efforts, models presented by the artists will be on display at reception and ice sculpture photos adorn the guest rooms. 2007 also marks the return of the Art In Ice Academy, where children from the local schools and Lac Salin SPA & Mountain Resort guests learn to sculpt in ice. |
